SimGuruSarah was on Twitter today answering questions for The Sims 3 Island Paradise. One response, found by WhipperWhirl of SimsVIP noted that mermaids will be playable just like other occults in The Sims 3 and that your Sims can also transform into a Mermaid, much like Werewolves and PlantSims.
