Ridgewater

World StoryDownload Ridgewater (41.7 MB)

Ridgewater is an island nestled just behind the mountains of Sunset Valley. First founded in 1792 by George P. Ridge, it was a diverse and barren land. George would take trips from Sunset Valley to the once unnamed land that is now Ridgewater bringing in new settlers. It has yet to be discovered why the bridge connecting Sunset Valley and Ridgewater was taken down.

Install Instructions and Notes

Install the world just like any other download.

When you launch The Sims 3, click the (+) New Game button, and choose Ridgewater from the selection menu.

In order to install Ridgewater version 1.5 you must uninstall the older version of Ridgewater first if you have it. You will lose any saves you had with Ridgewater if you had the older version and are updating to the new one.

The world does not come with any Sims. You must populate the world with your own Sims. The game will generate some NPC’s and all required service NPC’s so there will be Sims, just no families living in the homes.

When you launch the world for the first time and place a Sim, you may see fog coming from some of the lots. This issue is fixed by saving your game, going to the main menu, and reloading the world/saved game again. This is because of special effects used on some lots.
